Somewhere along the way he transitioned from potential rival for Joong Won to her unobtrusive bodyguard. If Gong Sil was a radar for ghosts, he is one for the underdog. Kang Woo has been the epitome of a gallant knight short of a white steed. The bitterness is that we have to experience that with him as we wait yet another week for the finale.Īs far as harmless second leads goes, this one is a keeper. Based on what happened tonight, I would say Joong Won is about to get just a taste of what utter emptiness and loss feels like in the coming days.

That kind of loss is something she can never go through twice. Joong Won doesn’t know the hell she went through in those moments when she thought she had lost him for good – if he even experienced a second of her pain from that night he will know exactly why she has good reason to fear. It makes you wonder what it’s going to take to convince Gong Sil that he wants her in his life since she is still running scared that being with her puts him in harm’s way. He keeps reaching out for her and she keeps pulling away. While they are going through this invisible tug of war emotionally, they are physically doing the same thing. Ever since last night, Gong Sil has been pulling away from him, but every chance he gets, he finds a legitimate reason to hold onto her. The man who despised anyone touching him has come a long way over the months to get to this point where he is willingly putting on an act to wring sympathy points out of Gong Sil to get some skinship. A classic.I love when tables turn, but it’s even more appealing cuz we are talking about Joong Won. The other 11 episodes are brilliant, exciting and well made. To compare that episode and criticise it as a blot on the story is very unfair, you have to take it on its own as a special episode more comparable to the kind of comedy spoof used for charity telethons in later years. The only slight drop in quality being the 7th episode The Feast of Steven which is a Christmas special of a far more light- hearted and whimsical kind.

In addition there are the other interesting alien characters and even the return of the Meddling Monk (Peter Butterworth) from the Doctor's home world! The story even has the shocking deaths of no less than 3 of the Doctor's 'companions'! The word epic is absolutely right for this mammoth story and it is incredible how the quality and interest is kept over an unprecedented 12 episodes. The Daleks too are at their peak in many ways and are great villains for this epic. He, along with the regular cast, Kevin Stoney as villainous Mavic Chen and most other cast, perform superbly.
The master sun ep 15 series#
It also features Nicholas Courtney (later to play Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, a series regular), as Bret Vyon. This adventure continues the story introduced in the episode Mission To The Unknown and features the Doctor trying to thwart the Daleks evil plans to conquer the solar system. Review for all 12 parts: This is an epic 12 part story from writers Dennis Spooner and Dalek originator Terry Nation, beginning with the episode The Nightmare Begins.
